Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been having severe back pain for almost two weeks now. I was coming up off the floor and hurt my back. I thought it was a pulled muscle and my dr. gave me a muscle relaxer and ib profen. It didn t really work. Then I was getting better and cancelled a follow up apt. I had made. I have since reschedule the apt but in the mean time. The pain is so bad if I turn my head to the right or left it hurts in my lower back and I can barely walk the pain in my lower back seems to be worse when I move my legs either one. I have been on a heating pad most of the day, and taken both the ib profen and muscle relaxer. dI am still in pain.
Hi dear. I am your physician, having a vast years long experience in the field of General Surgery, psychiatry, Radiotherapy, OB/GYN, Internal Medicine, Ottorhinolaryngology and Nutrition and weight loss, and Pain Management. I have carefully gone through your case and in my expert opinion you need complete bed rest. In the mean while consult a Neurosurgeon who can prescribe an MRI and see whats going on inside there. It may be Disc herniation(prolapse). May be severe muscle spasm. Stick to the opinion of neurosurgeon after MRI report is with him. Hope you get better soon. Dont worry just relax because diseases like this takes time to go away !!!
