yes I AM LOOKING FOR A WITE COUGH SYRUP FOR MY SON. I CAN T REMERMER THE NAME. ONE OF MY CARE GIVERS WORK AT WASHINGTON HOSTIPAL. ONE OF THE DOCTORS SAID THIS WAS THE CLOSES TO PRESCRIPTION. HE NO LONGER WORKS FOR ME. WHEN I FIRST STARTED BUYING IT I PAID 3.00 NOW IT COST 28.00AT GIANT EAGLES. NOBODY NO S WHAT I M TALKING ABOUT. SHOP N SAVE CHANGE OVER TO GIANT EAGLE AND THERE NOT THE SAME.

Use of cough syrup depend on which type of cough present...
For dry cough dextromethorphan containing syrup used
For wet cough with mucus ambroxol containing syrup can be used
And of course cough syrup only is not treatment ....
Cough should be evaluated further by auscultation, x ray, CBC etc according to need
