Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
1. Sir I am continuing with Quitipin 25 mg & Feliz S Plus 5 at night after meals (11 pm). With this dose I am not feeling good at all and my sleep is also not complete and when I get up I am not fresh. There is no zest and vigour at all, don’t feel like working and going out for a walk. Pls advise.
From your query I understand you are suffering from unipolar depression diagnosed by a professional and you are on these drugs. In this respect I think you should increase Escitalopram( Feliz S) to 10 mg and take clonazepam (Petril) separately for sleep1mg at night time. Continue the medication for further 4 weeks and consult back. These medications need to be taken for atleast an year. You can stop Quitiapine. Its important to regularly followup with your treating doctor as these drugs need dose adjustment.
hi dear , since when you are taking these medicines.your dose needs to be increased as the dose you are taking is not proper.so please consult your treating psychiatrist for the same.
