Suggest Medication For Shortness Of Breath And Chest Pain

My wife who is 42 is having shortness of breath and pain in both the front and back of her chest area, she has had what seems to be a cold/flu for 5 months now and the doctors have only prescribed the zpack for her. She is continuing to complain of these flu like symptoms with no relief from any type of medications, and now has breathing and chest pain.

Hello

I am sorry for her situation
If she was my patient I would recommend her to do some blood tests as a check up and a chest X ray. After having the results it will be the exact reason of her symptoms.
