Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, my daughter is taking her GCSE exams and is suffering with nerves/stress. She can start to shake with the nerves and her results have definitely been negatively impacted as a result. I am wondering if taking something like Kalms tablets will help her? Thanks, Mark
I think, she has performance anxiety. In that case, she needs antidepressant like paroxetine or low dose benzodiazepine. These drugs are not available over the counter, so consult a psychiatrist. She can also try relaxation exercise like JPMR or deep breathing exercise, that would help her keep calm.
Thanks
