Suggest Medication For Superficial Thrombosis ?

I have a sore area on my neck as well as a marble size bulge on the vein near my collarbone. i had an ultrasound and they said I had a superficial thrombosis. I went to the internal specialist and he said to not worry about it. I am flying to Europe the flight is 8 hours. Is this safe?

Cardiac Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for asking.
I think the journey is safe and is nothing to worry about. But I am a little bit concerned about the superficial thrombosis without an apparent cause. Maybe we have to think about it to find an underlining factor.
Sometimes coagulation problems can contribute, sometimes a compression to the veins...etc

So you have to go to the specialist on returning home.
