Suggest Medication For Swelling And Pain Of Tongue And Throat After Taking Crystal Meth
Hi I was wondering, I used crystal meth 4 days ago and i did it for 3 days until yesterday when I started feeling like my throat and tongue were swollen. I finally got myself to sleep for a while and when i woke up i was in a lot of pain. My whole Jaw was sore along with my teeth. My ears were aching and then I noticed i had a pretty decent size sore on the side of my tongue and a couple small little ones on the tip of my tongue and cheek. It was very painful, I could barely swallow or talk. So I went to the urgent care center, and saw a DR. He told me that I had pharyngitis. I was very nervous he would be able to tell I had being doing the meth, but he didnt ask any questions about it. Is this something that is common in meth users? It hasnt happened to me before when I have done it. Will this always happen now?
Yes, it is very common in meth users. I cannot say for sure if it will always happen now but this is very common after heavy use and occurs when the body excretes the harmful waste products of meth through the lining of the mouth. In heavy users, sores also develop on the skin all over and there is a foul smell emanating from the body. You need to be very careful.
Best wishes.
