Suggest Medication For Swelling Of Penis And Pain During Urination

My son suffered a trauma to the penis 6 days ago. Took him to the E.R. all seems fine with his urethra. He is 7 y.o., 50 lbs, 49 inches tall, walking fine, at times running, he can urinate but complains of significant pain when urinating. There is some discoloration, swelling, but improving daily. Is there anything to worry about with his pain?

Hematologist 's  Response
Hello,

He may have some inflammation due to injury. It leads to pain. He can take anti-inflammatory and analgesic drug like Combiflam.

Within few days, it will become normal. As the inflammation subsides, pain will reduce by itself. Don't worry much about that.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Hardik Sanghvi
