Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Is there any itching? Yes, it is possible that otitis externa may spread to other ear. Use oral antibiotics twice a day for five days. Drink hot water. Avoid cool drinks and ice creams. Use ear wash under your ENT specialist. Use Candibiotic ear drops if possible. Send ear discharge for culture and sensitivity. If symptoms not improved please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
