Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction Syndrome and can occur due to a number of causes leading to several disturbances in the jawjoint like dislocation of the mandible, displacement of articular disc [soft cushion present between two bony ends of the jaw joint], fractures, arthritic changes, teeth grinding habit etc..
Consult an Oral Surgeon or an Oral Physician and a full mouth x ray known as
Orthopantomogram can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
As of now you can take higher painkillers like
Tramadol or
Ketorolac to relieve severe acute pain..
Massage the muscles of side of face with finger tips in round gentle movements..
You can also take a
soft diet with plenty of fluids to avoid straining the joint..
Do warm compresses over the jaw joint..
Avoid stress and take rest..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
