Hello, Mr. Arvind.

It must be terrible to witness your child going through all of this at a tender age of two and a half years old. But good thing is, it's temporary!
Now, your son is having fever for 7-8 days. First advice would be to get blood tests done and confirm what and why is the fever. Yes typhoid is a common one but it could also be due to other reasons. So better to get CBC, Widal for typhoid, Rapid Malarial Parasite test, and Dengue serology done. After that we could go ahead with treatment management. For now kindly provide your child with Calpol250mg syrup thrice a day. And please give him tepid sponging - wash your child's body with wet cloth, a traditional old method which is the best treatment for fever till date. Please refer back with his blood tests.

Wishing your child a speedy recovery.
