Suggest Medication For Urinary Infection

I’m 30 year unmarried old man and have a pain in penis & irritation while passing urine. As per doctor advice, I have taken pill, ointment and feel ok after taking this. After eight or nine hours again feel pain. My marriage fixed on this year end. Will this problem affect my sex life after my marriage? I don’t have smoking or drinking habit. What type of problem im having?

Hello,

Do not worry about the difficulty in marriage life as the control of urinary infection precisely will not pause such issue to you.

Current guidelines
- get a urine culture done with your GP as already medicines have been taken and there are symptoms so possible drug resistance has to be
sorted out
- control of blood sugar
- cranberry pills 3 times a day after meals
- follow up after 48 hours about the progress and any other lab data available to discuss further.
