Diabetologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Control of diabetes is very important. With controlling diabetes, any type of treatment will be difficult to work.
2. Once diabetes is under control, urine culture and sensitivity should be done to identify proper antibiotic.
3. If required IV antibiotics and urine alkalinisation can also be done. Uncontrolled diabetes here is the main cause.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
