Suggest Medication To Cure Abdominal Pain, Nausea And Constant Burping

My husband started having abdominal pain around 5pm today. It got severe and so he took Buscopan. We are tourist from Switzerland in Montreal. It has not improved since then and above that he is constantly burping, very excessive and nauseating. No signs of fever, vomitting or diarrhea. He does not want to consult a doctor or go to the ER because he has anxiety attacks in clinics and hospitals. Please advise

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi

The symptoms could be due to GERD or gastroesophageal reflux disease.Proton pump inhibitors combined with antiemetics can be taken.I suggest you to visit a physician to rule out any other causes such as cardiac causes.Rarely heart diseases can present as vomiting or gastric intolerance and hence an Ecg should be taken.

Hope that was helpful.Let me know if i can assist you further.
