Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve been having these bad headaches over the last week. I ve never had headaches before and ive been taking this medication called saphris. Well the day before I started to experience these headaches I took four saphris that morning, I was feeling so bad and out on my feet. So I brought a redline energy drink to help counteract the drowsiness and it worked. But the next morning at around 10:00 my head just started to pound unexpectedly. For the last week Ive been getting these headaches at 10am and 2 am. Now I m a heavy smoker but until I took the saphris and redline I ve never had that problem. I ve been taking a lot of aspiring to relieve the pain. It s always on my left side behind my left eye and in the middle of my head. When I rub the top of my head, neck, and temple area it does relive some of the pressure, I also use a ice pack on my neck and left side of my head
The Saphris is an Asenapine content used for multiple thought process disorders as atypical antipsychotic medication. The overdose of aspirin with the Saphris would worsen the condition with fatigue, hang over or dizziness feeling. I would recommend: - Do not exceed the recommended physician dosage guidelines for any drug - Do use acetaminophen or paracetamol after meals 3 times a day - Deep breathing exercises and YOGA - Meditation - Walking in fresh air to get best ozone - Try to quit smoking or take help of de-addiction center
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
