The emergency room diagnosed me with scabies. I used the prescribed permethrin cream 5% as directed. Washed every clothing item I had in hot water and dryer in high heat as directed. I sprayed permethrin spray all over my furniture and mattress and carpet. I vacuumed every inch of my apartment several times. I bagged everything that I couldn t wash. New bumps are appearring on me in different places especially ears and face. I used the cream again and how do I know the cream is working since New problems are showing up?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of scabies. Scabies is highly curable. Scabicidal agents like 1.5% permethrin and crotamiton are useful. You have to apply it twice a day to the complete body with gental massage. You may also need antihistamine drugs and cold compresses to relieve from itching. If symptoms doesn't get relieved then consult Dermatologist.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
