Good morning. I have experienced abdominal pain since this Thursday morning after waking up. As this isn t the first time it has happened to me I thought it was due to a bad position during my sleep. So, I took a 50 mg tablet of diclofenac to relief the muscle inflammation which usually disappears within the same day or, at worst, the following day. However, this has not been the case now. On Thursday I have taken 2 x 100 mg diclofenac tablets followed by 4 x 50 mg ones on Friday and Saturday. All 6 tablets had been taken every approximately every 12 hours after meals. The pain seems to go but comes back again and again. It is bearable but it does not appear to go. My humble feeling is that on this occasion the abdominal pain may not be caused by a muscle sprain but it might well be due to a lymphatic problem. I am 64 years old enjoying good health but with the normal prostate problems experienced by many men over 50. Passing water more often, sometimes 4 times during the night, etc. At the moment I can see no changes in my urine habits. Your expert advice will be much appreciated. Many thanks.
