Suggest Medication To Cure Severe Back Pain
I have severe back pain on the left side of back right above the hip. It hurts even walking. I have some medications from before but can t remember which would be best to take. I have IC Acetaminophen CPD #3 tablet...also I have IC Amitriptyline HCL 10 mg tablet, Hydrocod/acetam 5-325mg, IC Cyclobenzaprine 10 mg tablet or IC Meloxicam 7.5 mg. I have had back pain before and have saved the medicines from before ..just can t remember what s best to take. It s Sunday and I can t go to the doctor.

It could be a neuropathic pain due to nerve impingement. Drugs like gabapentin and pregabalin are quite effective.
In severe cases steroid injection to the spine can be useful. Consult a spine surgeon and he will direct you accordingly.
