General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I would suggest you to wait for a couple of days for your periods to resume. After stopping the drug, withdrawal bleeding occurs usually in 3 to 5 days. In some women, bleeding can occur even 10 days after stopping the drug. Hence, you may need to wait for two to three more days.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
