Suggest Medication To Increase Bone Mass While Having Osteoporosis

Hello. I m 45 and was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure in my late 20 s. I am now 44 years old and just had my first bone scan. It showed that I have osteoporosis. I ve started taking calcium (1200 mg a day) with vitamin D3. My doctor sent me a letter stating that I will need to start taking a bone-strengthening medication. Is there anything else besides exercise and diet that can help reduce my risk of fracture. Is it possible for me to reverse the osteoporosis?

Hi, there are other drugs like Calcitonin, Osteophos and Parathormone injections that will help in improving bone density.
Regular exercise with weights will definitely help--regards
