Suggest Medication To Lower GGT Levels In A 26-year-old Woman
Hi I m a 26 year old woman, who doesn t drink. I recently found out i have elevated ggt levels. My doctor seems to not believe me when i say i don t drink and seems to think that s the reason my ggt is higher than normal. I was wondering what could cause higher GGt levels, and should i worry. I read in various studies that higher ggt is associated with all cause mortality rates. What can i do about this, every article says to reduce drinking to bring down ggt but i don t even drink at alll
Ggt is related to bile duct inflammatory response. Go in for an abdominal ultrasound in case to rule out gall stones. If nothing is there then just follow up the test. It ll wear off itself.
