Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It is better not to take any medication for stopping your periods. Since, long-term use of them can lead to the development of cancer in your genital tract, breast cancer and lot more.
Stopping of periods disturbs the hormonal balance, which makes you prone to cancers.
You better go with sanitary pads.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Lk.tata.lk
