Suggest Medication To Regulate High Blood Pressure Levels

I take Corey 6.25 mgx2 a day for high blood pressure for more than 10 years. It wakes very well. But recently it dose not work. I increase the dose to 6.25 mg x4 a day. It worked well for 2 days. I think I meet drug Torrance. Should I change to other drug?

Hello,

The choice of blood pressure medications for you will depend on what other medical conditions you have, and how high your blood pressure is.

Coreg is usually only take twice a day, so if your current dose is not controlling your blood pressure, adding another medication may be appropriate.

Some commonly used medications would be ACE inhibitors like lisinopril or enalapril, or calcium channel blockers like amlodipine. I am not familiar with Torrance so I could not comment on that drug.

But hopefully, this will give you a few things to talk with your doctor about.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
