Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi--I have Parkinson s disease. I live in a Small community without a movement disorder specialist. I have attempted. Without success to reach my specialist Irene Litvan in San Diego. The emergency hospital which serves her neurology unit tells me all the neurologists have gone home on account of the hour. I have a local general neurologist but he will not handle anything that sounds like an emergency and he has not r returned me phone call. My primary care doc has told me he knows nothing about Parkinson s so I seem to be stuck without medical advice. I have some strange symptoms. Including rapid breathing, numb tingling fingers, my right foot is clawing and basically I feel like I don t have enough medicine in my system although I have taken my meds on time. What should I do. Thanks
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern and very sorry that you are facing inconvenience, now for your symptoms I think it is yet to be diagnose, Parkinson's may just your thought and may not be diagnosed by physician, looking to your symptoms given here it does not seem Parkinson's disease but could be some functional problem and no need to worry about this, here your age and gender are missing this would be helpful for better advise, have a nice day.
