Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi this is Sweetie, i am married, In my blood test it was confirmed that i have been infected by Rubella Virus My Result for Rubella IGG AB is - 255.0EIU/ml. I need to know when can i get pregnant and i neeed to know what are the medicine available in India.
Thank you for asking! Careful interpretation of serologic markers for most of these infections is important. Immunoglobulin M (IgM) can persist for up to a year, leading to difficulty in determining fetal exposure during pregnancy. Furthermore, the specificity and positive predictive value of some of these tests may vary depending on the method used, requiring that positive findings be confirmed by a specialized laboratory. so i suggest get to an infectious disease specialist and let them decide how to treat it and what to do. Say no till that to pregnancy. take care
