hi doc, i was scratched by a pet puppy and i had undergone shots for anti rabies only thrice, i still have one last schedule for a shot when my dog bit me again. should i take another (4)shots for the 2nd bite? or should i just finish my course? thank you doc
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
There is no need to start afresh , just complete the course . Just in case of further re exposure at any point of time after completed post exposure prophylaxis, two doses are needed on days 0 and 3.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. Take care.
