Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Paracetamol is the drug of choice for reducing fever.
Given in a dose of 15 mg/kg body weight 4-6 hourly.
Tepid sponging several times along with paracetamol will help.
If it is viral fever it will be controlled within 3-4 days.
If not controlled ,consult pediatrician.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
