Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello i've been suffering severe headaches for the past 3 days. I suffer from sinus, but can usally take otc medication and they go away. Nothing is working, an I've been have excessive saliva. Please help, feeling like crap. Head hurts sssssooooo bad
As per your complain it seems like headache is due to Sinusitis and the hypersalivation seems to be due to post nasal drip secondary to sinusitis leading to infection and irritation in throat.. Nothing to worry, you consult an Emergency roon and get evaluated and if sinusitis is confirmed as the cause he can advise antibiotics like Clindamycin or Azithromycin, painkillers like Ibuprofen, diclofenac potassium, steroid nasal sprays, saline irrigation, steam inhalations, warm saline gargles and using a humidifier in your room..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
