Suggest Medications For Typhoid Fever With Swelling

Good After noon Doctor.. My daughter had typhoid fever since a week and had been medicated with injections for 3 days. After that she was advised with tablets for 3 days. After that now shes again having fever and her whole body is swollen. Please advise

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are wondering for medications for typhoid fever with swelling . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case the symptoms are due typhoid fever . I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper checkup . Doctor may order test like blood, stool, urine , Widal test or bone marrow . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like Ciprofloxacin along with antipyretic and anti inflammatory . It can take around a week to get normal.
