Suggest Medications For Typhoid
I ve been suffering from high fever , vomitting , nausea , stomach ache since 19 Dec '11 . 10 days back in Widal test i have been diagnosed to ve typhiod. I visited the doctor today as the symptoms were continuing with extreme weakness. he has advised 2 weeks rest . If i resume my official duties now will it be harmful for me ? Plz advise as my company is following up for the same.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the high grade fever and it is continues in patrons then it could be due to infection and it is the bacteria could be the causative organism, it is most advisable to be in bed till the course of disease and the therapy overs, you can not resume the duty in febrile condition, body temperature beyond 100 F for more than week can cause the weakness, dehydration and toxicity, so be in bed, till the course of disease overs hope this information helps.
