Suggest Medications For Viral Fever With D3 Deficiency

Hi Doctor,

I had acute viral fever and Vitamin D deficiency after getting myself diagnosed by a doctor.
My D3 level is just 4 which should be 100 instead for a healthy person.I have been told to take one injection a week for 6 weeks for D3 deficiency.
I feel like my hands are shivering.

can u please help?

There are two different things in your case .
1 Viral fever as treatment is very simple . When patient visit in my clinic with viral fever I usually advise them to take paracetamol 500-650 mg twice or thrice in day according to pain in body and severity of disease or fever. I also advise them take one antacid syrup , so that they don't feel any nausea or hyper acidity.
2 Vitamin D deficiency , I advise my patient to take CHOLECALCIFEROL 60000 I U / week for three months ( total 12 dosage in 12 weeks time ) .Chewable tablets available on chemist shop .
After this take one tablet of cholecalciferol 60000 I U / month for next 9 month i.e complete treatment and assessment ( evaluation of Vitamin D after this one year course.
