Suggest Medications To Treat Gum Disease

I have periodontal disease and osteoporosis.I am seeing my general practitioner tomorrow forto discuss a drug that would be appropriate for me to take for osteoporosis.I am scheduled for gum surgery at the end of the month. Can you give me any advice or drug suggestions?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain in case if you are scheduled for gum surgery and in case if you are going to take medication for Osteoporosis then I would suggest you to first get the gum surgery done..

You should also go for any other dental treatment like extraction done prior to taking Osteoporosis drugs..

For Osteoporosis commonly Bisphosphonates are given that can cause Osteonecrosis, therefore you should first get a proper dental treatment done prior to taking Osteoporosis ..
