My son was 16 when he was diagnosed with chrons He is 19 and has been on the 5 ASA , vitamin d and aZathioprine 75mg. But never has been in remission. He has had a couple of admissions as he was dehydrating and also been on prednisolone. He has come to a point where he has been on the liquid drinks frusebin for the last 5months.. Please advise the consultant are looking into starting infiximab. Would you suggest any alternative medication etc. Kind regards.
