Suggest Medicine For Chest Congestion, Wheezing, Shortness Of Breath And Dry Cough

I ve been having a hard time with congestion in my chest, wheeezing, shortness of breath, severe dry cough. My internist put me on an antibiotic about 5 weeks ago and it did not help. I went to an allegist a week ago who ut me on Nasonex; so far no help......I was looking up the medicine Tedral, which seemed to bring me great relief as a kid back in the late 60s. (I am 58). It looks like it is discontinued. Is there any similar meds out there now? Thanks.

Your symptoms are suggestive of bronchial asthma. So you need pulmonary function testing of your lungs and if there is obstruction you need to take inhalers and other medication. So first of all you have your pulmonary function testing done.
