As per your complain ear ache or pain in ear along with light yellow ear discharge are indications of ear infection and as you are advised antibiotic ear drops like oflox otic ear drops they can be instilled even now for reducing infection.. Secondly along with antibioticear drops you also need oral antibiotics anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen for relieving pain.. But a proper clinical examination is first needed, therefore I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like otoscopy, x ray etc can help in diagnosis.. He can be advised antibiotic and analgesic ear drops along with oral antibiotics and painkillers and at times manual drainage of ears along with placement of pressure equalization tubes and correction of the perforated eardrum by tympanoplasty procedure can help..
