Suggest Medicine For Headache, Dizziness And Fever
Hello. My daughter has been complaining of a headache and being dizzy since Wed. Night. Started with a low grade fever of 99.2. Now has a 102.7 fever. Says she is dizzy and can t hear well. Says things are scratchy or static sounding. Eating ok and drinking fluids. Also, took her to the doctor about two weeks ago due t wheezing when she ran-sports induced asthma.

Fever is a symptom of an underlying disease. There are many causes of fever such as malaria, typhoid, infectious mononucleosis, TB, Dengue etc.
Advice
1. Take bed rest for few days
2. Cefixime 100 every 12 hours per oral for 5 days
3. Paracetamol 500 mg per oral if fever occurs
4. Cinnarizine 25 mg orally if she feels dizzy
5. Cold water sponging if fever is more than 100 degree Farenheight
6. Investigations – CBC, ESR, Widal test, blood smear for malaria parasite, and dengue NS1 antigen
Consult a doctor with reports if fever is not relieved by above measures.
