Hi I have been surfing from a bad head headache sense thursday night. I have been both to my local er;s in the area. first one gave me some finagrin on friday night that did help but the next day my headache came back. So I took my normal medicine sumatriptan and fair it ok until this past sunday to where the headache got worse went to another local er they gave me phenergan by IV and IV fluids. that got read of it, the side effect did not sleep the hole night. between 5am-12pm est I got some rest but now the headache is still wanting to hang around and I think the meds they gave me through the IV last night is making me pee more but way to much, another reason I could not go to sleep last night. also I do see a headache doc but his office was closed today.
As a first line management you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
