Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My name is Hannah I have a irregular menstruation.ido stay two month without period like.last I received periods was march.April and may I didn t get and when it come it never stop until i take medicine.to stop it.this month I received my period 27may even now it hasn t stop.I have taken primolut and it not stopping please help am soon stressed about this.am not married,no kids no family planning.
I would like to know few things, your age, weight, the number of days since you are experiencing menstrual irregularities and the duration of time during which you have been taking medicine for this condition. There may be a need for a few blood tests as well as an ultrasound to be done to manage your issue properly which is best done under the advice of a gynecologist.
Other things like regular exercise helps to bring back the irregularity to normal cycles. Make sure you keep yourself active with regular exercise. Also, manage your stress levels which are quite responsible for hormonal imbalance; you can do this with the help of meditation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
