Now i want to be concieve. i consult a gyne. she ask me to do ovulation study. last month my follicle size was 38 mm cyst on Left side. after that menstrual begin. i again consult to doctor. she again suggest me to do ovulation sutdy. today the follicle size was 16 mm. Now suggest me any medicine for the rupturing of follicle
hCG Hormone is used usually to rupture the follicle to effect egg release (ovulation).
Though the larger follicles also end in the ovulation after hCG injection,it has been found that the best results in terms of pregnancy are when the size of the follicle is between 18 mm to 21 mm. Follicles larger than 21 mm size have low success in pregnancy and if at all the pregnancy takes place, may not have successful good outcome. It is advisable to utilize the 24 hours after Injection hCG has been given. Usually anytime after 4 hours of injection, ovulation takes place. The life of an egg is 24 hours and the sperms are active for 72 hours.
