Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

What Dermatologist has prescribed for your hair fall treatment is fine and please continue with it. This treatment is not effective instantaneously and would take about 3 to 6 months to know it's effect. So do not panic about it and do a follow-up after 3 months with your Dermatologist. Since thyroid dysfunction is known to be associated with hair fall, I suggest you to take the medication regularly for it and do the necessary follow-up with your Physician regarding that so as to maintain thyroid hormone levels within desired range. In the meantime, eat healthy food and avoid intake of junk food.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
