Hi,

Since the withdrawal bleeding might be heavy and irregular if you prepone the period hence I would advise you to postpone the period. Norethisterone 5 mg can be used to postpone your period. Start to take it three days before your period is due, and can then continue to take it for a maximum of 20 days. You will get your period two to three days after you stop taking Norethisterone. Since it is a prescription medication hence a gynecologist consultation is recommended.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi.

To be on safer side, I would advise you to postpone your period. Start taking one tablet of norethisterone-5 mg three times daily three days before the expected onset of menstruation and continue taking it for up to 10 to 14 days. A normal period should occur 2-3 days after stopping these tablets. A gynecologist consultation however, is recommended for the prescription.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
