Suggest Methods To Cope Up With Stress

I am a female, married for around 10 yrs. I work in IT. I am in a very troubled marriage. It was always bad but with time it has just worsened. Now I am unable to cope up. I am never happy, don't enjoy anything, cry a lot, day to day tasks seem to be unmanageable. Please help.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,

I read your query and can understand the distress you might be in. You seem to be suffering from depressive symptoms. For your problems, I would advise you to consult a psychiatrist.

Treatment with antidepressants like escitalopram, sertraline, etc will be helpful in your condition. In addition you can also consider couple's therapy with your husband for taking care of the marital discord if your husband is agreeable. You can also start exercising daily which will help you be relaxed. Writing diary daily, expressing your thoughts can also help you feel relaxed.

Hope this information was helpful. Best wishes.
