Hello Madam,
Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Care Magic. I read carefully your question and I understand your concerns.
Your
blood test report show me that your lipid fractions are normal, except a slight increase of
total cholesterol. I would like to mention that cholesterol level is not related with body weight, there are very thin individuals with very
high cholesterol level as there are
overweight, obese persons with normal cholesterol levels. As you already are doing, the best first treating option is to have a healthy diet and exercise.
There are some natural supplements, which could help you balancing your blood cholesterol, such as Artichoke leaf extract, Soluble fibers (found in oats, barley, bran, peas, and citrus fruits), Barley, Fish oil (found as a liquid oil and in oil-filled capsules), Green tea extract, Garlic extract,
Beta-sitosterol (found in oral supplements and some margarines, such as Promise Activ) etc.
Hope I helped with my answer. For further concerns or follow up questions, feel free to ask again.
Take Care,
Dr. Ina
