Suggest Natural Treatment For Hyperthyroidism Leading To Swollen Throat
I have just been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, my TSH was in normal range but low and my T4 was above normal. I was wondering if there was any natural remedies that could lower the T4. I am dealing with a lot of early morning adrenaline, throat feels swollen every morning and I gag uncontrollably. I have also been diagnosed with H pylori which I am being treated for. I wore an oximetry to see what my oxygen level is at night, I have not got the results yet but I do know that when I woke up 3 different times it was at 88. I do have sever sleep insominia.
I suggest you visit an endocrinologist for treatment of your hyperthyroidism. As you have severe sleep apnea, your oxygen saturation can drop to 88. If you have it for a long time then there is a range of oxygen saturation that would be fine for you. Yet, it is better you consult with your respiratory physician for long term management.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Abdullah Alozai, General & Family Physician
