Hello
Thanks for query.

Your husband has Chronic Renal Failure with kidney function of 22%.

The main function of the kidney is to eliminate end product of protein metabolism (Creatinine)

Normal creatinine level is 0.8 to 1.2mg/

We advise dialysis when serum creatinine levels goes above 7 -8mg.

It is very difficult to predict the life span of a patent as they are more prone to get any other illness easily.

Left untreated the life span of the patient is very short say 1-2 years.
