Suggest Opinion About Treatment And Chances Of Miscarriage During Pregnancy

Hi Dr, i am 8 week pregnant having twins.my doctor had asked me to take progestrone tablet 2 times a day and once a day efollic DHA tablet. and once a week she gives me strone and hcg injection i have to take this injection only till first 3 month. now i just wanted to ask you is this treatment good enough for my twins baby also what are the chances of misccarriage at this stage.

Your doctor is doing perfectly ok with you, so be calm and relax...because you have twins , so this kind of treatment is fine..
Chances of abortion is very less nowadays, if you follow your doctor properly and take enough precautions..1st 3 months are very crucial, so avoid any kind of exertion and dont lift any heavy things...
HCG and progesterone are important to maintain pregnancy in initial 3 months, after that these hormones will be produced in sufficient quantities in your body...
