Suggest Pain Killer For Tooth Pain In Diabetic Paitents
My husband is a chronic diabetics with maintaining of insulin.he just extracted his tooth with crown.his doctor did not give any medicine like antibioti or analgesic atleast for pain.he told him to remove the dressing gauze only after one hour and clean it with mouth wash of beta dine only.til now my husband is in severe pain and slight bleeding only on his extracted tooth site.pls any advise or recommendation.
Dear madam, Its time you review with your dentist for antibiotics as well as pain killers. till then paracetamol will help reduce the pain. Generally in a diabetic patient since the chances of infection are high we give antibiotics before tooth extraction/ dental procedure and continue after extraction as well. Diabetic or not pain relief is doctor's responsibility so please review.. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
