Suggest Permanent Solution For A Cyst On The Face

Hi I have rosacea.small acne like cyst over my face.is there any permanent solution for this? I am on antibiotics doxycycline one tablet per day. I am planning to conceive and this antibiotic is not recommended in pregnancy so I am worried. Please suggest if there is any solution to cure this. Thank you.

Hi,

Yes Doxycycline needs to be stopped and safer alternatives like penicillins like coamoxiclav or azithromycin may be used instead. OTC analgesics like acetaminophen can be used if pain or inflammation is pronounced and anti histamines like loratidine may be safer than others for itching. A detailed dermatologist review and local examination is recommended.
