I need to have back surgery, their going to put 2 rods against my spine and screw them in, what do i need to do to prepare for this and i know i need to stop smoking but i don't know a good way too do that, i have too many things wrong with me and i'm on 4 medication's?
As such no any medication or any precousion required before surgery. But yes if you are going for fusion surgery, its better to stop smocking. If you are on any antipletlet drug like aspirin you need to consult you physician/anesthetic doctor regarding its plan. anyway goodluck for spine surgery
