Hi.

I had gone through your query.

using condom as a protection barrier to prevent any infection transmission or pregnancy.

It has dual role.

If you or your partner has infection then need to proper treatment before unprotected intercourse or sex. Keep genital area clean and wash with water regularly.

If you want to conceive then consult gynecologist and take their advise.
Treatment is necessary for local infection if any.

So no need to worry. Just consult and get help.
I hope i have answered your query.

Thank you.
